1、Steps of HID xenon kit installation:

Step1:
Let the engine cool for at least 10 minutes, avoiding to be burned by the installation of water tanks and the engine;

Step2:
Remove the HID Head lights, divide the HID headlamps and the ballast into two groups in order to device by group;

Step3:
Remove the headlight power connector, waterproof rubber and the old lamps;

Step4:
Fix the HID headlights to the lamp holder;

Step5:
Be sure the correct installation of headlamps, prevent the deformation of the headlights base;

Step6:
Be sure the waterproof rubber cover fitted well;

Step7:
Fixed ballast and the truss-line group;

Step8:
Put the ballast input terminal together with car headlights;

Step9:
Connect the HID headlights wire harness with the ballast wiring harness;

Step10:
Check all installations steps, and be sure of the installation correction of positive and then you can open the headlights;

Step11:
Check the height and distance of the headlights irradiation.;

Step12:
Installation of complete, enjoy the fun of driving at night!



2. Notes of HID Xenon lamp installation

(1) Installing the HID automotive lighting system and washing the car, you must wait for the completely cool of the engine, avoiding to burn or injury the person or lamps.

(2) The installment of HID headlights must be repaired by the professional person.

(3) Cut off the power when installment because HID headlights will produce the high voltage 23,000V when start-up.

(4) Please check the parts of ballast, wiring, bulbs in the package. If you find wire damage, ballast leakage plastic, wiring or plug damage etc, and please stop working.

(5) Do not touch the bulbs with your fingers, otherwise it will cause pollution and reduce service life.

(6) Do not look directly to the light source avoiding to burn your eyes because xenon lights lit strong white light after turning on;

(7) Clean lamps regularly, keep the lamps clean, so that the lights source can achieve best results;

(8) Don’t install the ballast next to the heat body. It can be installed above the bumper which helps heat dissipation;

(9) Don’t put the ballast next to wires, and don’t install it close to water sources, such as water tanks. (Excessive moisture will lead to the leakage and aging of the stabilizer);

(10) Put it in a better position permeability to allow air flow to reduce the temperature of the ballast. Make the typically on-line group of relays, fuses exposed for easy replacement after installation.

(11) Do not wind the high-voltage part of the ballast to avoid product too large magnetic field to affect other electrical equipment of vehicles. Ballast wiring installed at the down.

(12) Ensure to seal after installing the light bulbs.

(13) When installed, dedicated line group should be of good appearance as possible as they can. Do not connect with something which is heat to avoid the short circuit caused by water heating.

(14) Various interfaces, fuses must be taped with electrical tape binding so as to avoid loose, lead to poor contact.

(15) After installed, one side is not bright or will flash, the general approach is that adjust the group-specific location of negative.
